ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A tow truck driver was killed Monday night by a hit-and-run driver on I-70 in North St. Louis.

Police caught the driver a short distance from the scene in the O’fallon Park area.

I-70 , east bound, was closed for over an hour between Adelaide and West Florissant.  The hit and run driver is hospitalized.
