ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -  A woman was shot dead in south St. Louis Monday night.

Police say 44-year-old Yvette Gray and another woman were sitting outside a home in the 1400 block of Hickory when a man started firing at them around 10 p.m.

Gray was struck in the abdomen and later died.

The other woman, aged 22, was shot in the leg.

Police think they know who the shooter was and are trying to track him down.
