Bob Kuban Remembers Dick Clark

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – American Bandstand legend Dick Clark is remembered by a famous St. Louisan, in his own right,  who appeared on the T.V. show.

Bob Kuban remembers Dick Clark as “very down to earth.”  “It was a big thing for us (Kuban and the In-Men) to be on American Bandstand.  He just made it so much easier.” said Kuban.

Bob Kuban says after they played “The Cheater” on American Bandstand the song went from number 50 on the carts to number 12.

Kuban says rock n roll and contemporary music would not be the same today without Dick Clark.  Dick Clark died of a heart attack at the age of 82.
