ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KMOX) -  One person was killed, two others seriously hurt in a crash in St.Louis County Tuesday.

State police say a Chevrolet Venture driven by 22-year-old John Recklein of St. Charles struck another car, ran off the road and overturned several times at 5:30 p.m.

Recklein was thrown out and he and a passenger in his vehicle, 17-year-old Natasha Galenski of St. Peters, were rushed to Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur with serious injuries.

Also riding in that vehicle was 23-year-old Jared Nevenner of Caseyville Illinois, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

A fourth occupant had minor injuries.
