Abducted Metro East Infant Found Safe

EAST CARONDELET, IL (KMOX) – Sources tell KMOX a seven-month-old girl abducted from her Metro East home Saturday morning has been found and is safe.

Police say the child was taken around 3:45 a.m. from her home on North Penn in East Carondelet.

The father reportedly had a history of assault, including assaults against police officers.

There is no word from East Carondelet police on whether the girl’s father has been found.
