U-S Senator Roy Blunt (R-Mo)
WASHINGTON (KMOX) - Missouri’s junior U.S. Senator provided the Republican Party’s weekly media address on Saturday.
Roy Blunt said President Obama and leading Senate Democrats continue to focus on the wrong issues, “The latest example was the Senate’s vote this week on the so-called Buffett Tax, a gimmick that would do nothing to jump-start jobs or lower fuel prices for average Americans who are really struggling to make ends meet.”
Sen. Blunt pressed the White House to drop its opposition to the Keystone oil pipeline, which the President blocked earlier this year, “The Keystone pipeline is one common-sense step in the right direction to help put more people back to work, reduce prices at the pump, and position our nation for greater energy security now and in the future.”
