ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — The St. Louis Blues will open the Western Conference Semifinals against Los Angeles on Saturday at Scottrade Center. However, the start time for Game 1 will presumably come when the NHL announces the entire second round schedule by the end of Thursday.
Like the series open, the start time for Game 2 will also come later, but will more than likely be in the evening on Monday, April 30.
The Blues will have at least one late start for the Central Time zone playing Games 3 and 4 in Los Angeles. Game 3 is on Thursday, May 3 while Game 4 could be an afternoon affair on Sunday, May 6.
The dates for Games 5-7, if they are even necessary, will be announced at a later date along with starts times.
This will be the third time in franchise history that St. Louis and Los Angeles will face one another, the last series occurring in 1998 in the Western Conference Quarterfinal where the Blues defeated the Kings four games to none.
The entire second-round schedule for the Stanley Cup Playoffs will be released by the NHL at the end of Thursday.
