ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A suspect has been taken in for questioning in Friday morning’s hit and run accident near downtown St. Louis that left one person dead and another injured.
St. Louis Police say a vehicle matching the description of the car involved in the accident was found Friday night in Madison, Illinois. A man was taken into custody at that time. No charges have been filed.
23-year-old Amber Wood was killed just before two a.m. Friday when she was struck outside the Broadway Oyster Bar in the 700 block of South Broadway. A man struck by the car suffered non-life threatening injuries.
