ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — Among those hoping to cheer the St. Louis Blues to a Game Two win tonight is Mayor Francis Slay.
“It always does help a team to know that the hometown is out there for them, cheering for them.”
Beside turning the fountains in Kiener Plaza blue, Slay says “you’ll going to see some of the status wearing Blues jerseys.”
But the mayor’s support, however, has stopped short of growing a playoff beard.
“I could probably paint one on, but I’m not sure if I could grow one.”
Tonight’s game between the Blues and Kings can be heard right here on KMOX1120 at 8 p.m., with pre-game starting at 7:30 p.m.
