With all the baseball and hockey games taking up most of the show’s time, Kevin finally gets a chance to get some reaction from the Rams about their draft work that took place last weekend when he spoke with GM Les Snead.

The Cardinals travel to Texas for the first time since the 2011 World Series this weekend to face the Houston Astros. Jeff Luhnow, formerly head of the Redbirds farm system plus drafting, is now the Astros’ GM and joined Kevin to let us know how the new job is going.

The Atlantic 10 Conference got a fantastic replace for the Temple Owls by adding the Butler Bulldogs out of Indiana. Recently NCAA Championship runner-ups in 2010 and 2011, the Billikens will certainly have their work cut out in men’s basketball. SLU Athletic Director Chris May joined the broadcast.
