Jeffrey Stone, Two Others Booked In Kidnapping Case
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Jeffrey Stone was officially booked on charges of kidnapping his young son Thursday.
Stone, 33, is accused of taking his 5-year-old Porter Stone from St. Louis Children’s Hospital without the consent or knowledge of the boy’s mother, who was at the hospital at the time of the April 24th abduction and is currently involved in divorce proceedings from Jeffrey Stone.
Stone, along with his mother Rhonda Matthews and his sister Heather Minton, were tracked down and arrested the next day at a motel in Alsip Illinois, near Chicago.
All three face felony charges of kidnapping, endangering the welfare of a child, and interference with custody.
They were booked into city jail following their extradition back to St. Louis.
Porter Stone, who’s awaiting a heart transplant, was not harmed during his ordeal and was later reunited with his mother, Tiffany Stone.
