1138th Comes Home

MANCHESTER, Mo. (KMOX) – Following nearly a year’s tour of duty in Afghanistan, the men and women of the Missouri National Guard’s 1138th Transportation Company are back home.

Governor Nixon and other dignitaries welcomed the 165 citizen soldiers back to home soil, Saturday, at the First Evangelical Free Church in Manchester.

The unit conducted more than 90 convoy operations missions while overseas.
