Friend of Tony La Russa, actor, and avid Cardinals fan Billy Bob Thornton, joined Scott Warmann and talked about how he got to know TLR, last year’s World Series, and how he lives, eats, and breathes Cardinals baseball.
With Tony La Russa getting his number retired tomorrow, Scott Warmann chatted with Jim Leyland to talk about his relationship with the man who wore number 10, Tony La Russa. Jim also touched on what it was like managing against TLR, and how he La Russa helped him get his career started.
St. Louis Sports Commission President, Frank Viverito joined Scott to talk about the events that St. Louis will hosting coming up in the near future including: a chance to see the best gymnast in the U.S. at the Visa Championships. A big topic with Frank is the attempt of the St. Louis Sports Commission of getting a bowl game to St. Louis and the Edwards Jones Dome or Busch Stadium.
