GRANITE CITY, Ill. (KMOX) -
Two women from Granite City and a man from Collinsville were the victims in a grinding one-car accident in Granite City early Saturday.
Police say it happened around 3.am in the 22-hundred block of St. Clair Avenue in Granite City.
A car crossed the centerline, left the road, smashed through a front yard fence and then slammed into a large tree.
The Madison County Coroner identifies the dead as 27-year-old Krystal Moss and 30-year-old Rhonda Hall, both of Granite City, and 28-year-old Johnny Million of Collinsville. Police say all three died at the scene.
A sibling of one of the three killed in the crash says her 27-year-old sister, Krystal Moss, died alongside her high school sweetheart, Johnny Million.
“She always said she wanted to be with Johnny. In a way, that’s what she got. It just didn’t have to be this way. It’s definitely a hard situation,” the sibling told KMOX News, Saturday evening, near the scene of the crash.
