ST.CHARLES, MO. (KMOX) - Rape and molestation charges have been filed against a Troy Missouri man.

St. Charles County Prosecutors say 37 year old Shaun Shroyer molested and raped a young teenage girl who he’d known for several years.  He was once a neighbor of the girl and her family.

The alleged attack occurred in late April in St. Charles, but neither the suspect or the victim is from St. Charles.  Shroyer was arrested after both the victim and her parents told police.   Shroyer is jailed on $30,000 cash only bond.
