UPDATE: Police Make First Arrest In Pizza Delivery Driver Murder

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Police in North County have made an arrest in Saturday’s robbery and murder of a pizza delivery driver.

The driver worked at an Imo’s Pizza location in Northwoods and was making a delivery in Hillsdale when he was shot. He died at a hospital Saturday afternoon.

Police identify the driver as 22-year-old Daniel Maksimenko of Ballwin. He was making a pizza delivery early Saturday morning in the 21-hundred block of Erick Avenue when his killers surrounded his car and shot him once in the head and three times in the chest.

The suspected gunman’s name has not been released but he’s in his 20’s and has been charged with murder and robbery.

Police are searching for at least two other accomplices.
