Man Charged in Horrific Dog Abuse Case

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) –  A man has been arrested in connection with the torture of animals last week on Wells Avenue.

Last week a half-dozen dogs were found dead in an empty apartment there. 31 year old Darick Stallworth is charged with Animal Abuse.

Randy Grim, founder of Stray Rescue, said the dogs showed clear signs of having been abused and tortured before they were killed.

One dog may have been burned alive.

Police officials are citing Stray Rescue’s involvement and offer of a $10,000 reward in helping to crack the case and leading to the arrest of Stallworth.
