Collinsville Man Faces Lengthy Prison Term For Child Porn

COLLINSVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) –  A Collinsville man faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted on child pornography charges.

41-year-old Eric R. Filebark was in federal court this week to plead guilty to possession and distribution of child pornography.

Filebark was captured in a sting operation last year in which he allegedly offered to share dozens of images of child pornography with a person who turned out to be an undercover police officer.

Using a federal search warrant police seized Filebark’s home office computer that discovered that it contained more than 600 images of minors engaging in sexually explicit activity.
