LAKE ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) – Police in Lake St. Louis are searching for a man who reportedly used candy to try to lure children into his truck.

Witnesses told KMOV that the man was talking to several children around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening in Founders Park. The man left the scene after a father of one of the child approached the man.

The suspect was described to police as a white male in his mid-40s with dark-colored hair and a small goatee. He was last seen driving a silver Chevrolet Impala.
