ST. LOUIS (AP) — The St. Louis Rams are launching a new effort to help children learn the importance of physical activity and healthy eating.
The initiative is known as “Rams ReciPEs.” It’s part of the NFL’s “Play 60” program, which encourages kids to get out and play.
In addition to urging at least an hour of physical play per day, the Rams are encouraging healthy eating habits.
Rams players are making three visits to highlight the new program, starting with one on Thursday at the South City Family YMCA.
