UNION, Mo. (KMOX)-The man wanted for severely beating a man in a Franklin County campground has surrendered to authorities.

Sheriff Gary Toelke says 32-year-old Joshua Lueken, of Sullivan, turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Department and then bonded out.

Lueken allegedly punched, kicked and beat Jeffery Pemberton with a pipe, after he saw Pemberton make what he considered inappropriate contact with a 13-year-old girl.
