UNION, Mo. (KMOX) – A man charged in connection with the beating of a man at a Sullivan campground last weekend has surrendered himself to authorities.
32-year-old Joshua Lueken was described as the “main suspect” in the assault on 32-year-old Jeffery Pemberton of Cuba Missouri.
Lueken turned himself in late Thursday night.
Pemberton was punched, kicked, tied to a chair and beaten with a pipe Saturday at the Arapaho campground.
Franklin County sheriff Gary Toelke said Leuken accused Pemberton of having inappropriate contact with a teenaged girl.
