A man has been shot in the face near the Gateway Arch downtown.

Police say a man in his 50′s was leaving the Mansion House Garage in a Mercedes S.U.V. shortly after three Saturday afternoon when two men walked up and opened fire.

The victim was hit in the face but was talking with paramedics at the scene.

The gunmen, also in their 50′s, walked away.

The injured man has been taken to a local hospital.

Police say the motive for the shooting is not clear.
