Perfect weather, The full Muny Orchestra, The Muny Kids and The Muny Teens and a host of other amenities welcomed hundreds of Muny patrons Saturday morning as they got in line to purchase single tickets for the upcoming 94th season in Forest Park.

The box office opened at 9:00 AM. Some patrons began lining up at midnight.

After buying tickets.some  ticketholders were allowed an escorted visit inside the theater to see their seat locations first-hand. This was a special activity for Saturday only.

Tickets for the upcoming Muny season, the first under the supervision of new Executive Producer Mike Isaacson, are on sale everyday at The Muny ticket office in Forest Park, and through MetroTix. Many in line said the shows they were anticipating the most were “The King and I,” “Aladdin,” Throughly Modern Millie” and “Chicago.”
