Well-Attended Benefit For Wounded Officer

There’s a benefit underway in Florissant for Florissant Police officer Mike Vernon, shot and critically wounded during a burglary investigation Monday.

The benefit has drawn a large crowd and will continue into Saturday night in the 4-hundred block of St. Francois in Old Town Florissant.
