ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will rally local supporters on Thursday.

It’s his first visit to the region since sewing up his party’s nomination.

Romney will hold a public event at Production Products at 1285 Dunn Road in north St. Louis County. The company is a military contractor specializing in chemical and biological weapon protections and defenses.

Doors open at 11:15 a.m. and the event begins at 12:15 p.m.

A fundraiser is planned for later that day in Clayton.
