NEW YORK (KMOX) - If Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game was held today, two St. Louis Cardinals would be in the starting lineup.

In the first round of ballot results released Tuesday, Yadier Molina leads all National League catchers with 1,100,048 votes. Carlos Beltran is second among NL outfielders, behind league-leading vote-getter Matt Kemp and ahead of last year’s league MVP Ryan Braun.

Shortstop Rafael Furcal is second in voting to Troy Tulowitzki of Colorado. Third baseman David Freese only trails David Wright of the Mets. And Matt Holliday is currently 6th among NL outfielders.

Former Cardinal Albert Pujols is fifth among AL first basemen.

Mizzou alumnus Ian Kinsler leads AL second basemen.

NL: 1b Joey Votto (Reds), 2b Dan Uggla (Braves), ss Troy Tulowitzki (Rockies), 3b David Wright (Mets), c Yadier Molina (Cardinals); of Matt Kemp (Dodgers), Carlos Beltran (Cardinals), Ryan Braun (Brewers).

AL: 1b Prince Fielder (Tigers), 2b Ian Kinsler (Rangers), ss Derek Jeter (Yankees), 3b Adrian Beltre (Rangers), c Mike Napoli (Rangers), dh David Ortiz (Red Sox); of Josh Hamilton (Rangers), Curtis Granderson (Yankees), Nelson Cruz (Rangers).
