Riding For Christian (Ferguson)

FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOX) – They were revving up their engines for a good cause. Members of several St. Louis area motorcycle clubs gathered in Ferguson, Saturday, for another Christian Ferguson “Riding for an Angel” event.

“Solo” is the president of the #1 Stunnas group, “Christian Ferguson’s been missing for almost nine years now. It’s time to sit up and make people aware of what’s going on in our community. Maybe we can try to do something different, as far as awareness, to make sure we look after our young ones.”

The rally began from the corner where Ferguson’s father said he was last seen.

Theda Thomas is Ferguson’s mother. She says police built up a solid case in 2004, but have yet to charge anyone in her son’s disappearance, “I’m really excited that people in the community are still taking up the cause and making it their own. I do believe that’ll bring about justice, not only for me, but we have other kids missing, other crimes not solved or resolved.”

Thomas says in Missouri, right now, there are at least 500 missing adults and nearly 50 missing children.

Also held Saturday in the name of Christian Ferguson was a “Nine Miles For Nine Years” walk and a “Dining For An Angel” restaurant event.
