KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP)- A suburban St. Louis man who pleaded guilty last year in a southwest Missouri sex slave case wants a federal judge to hurry up and sentence him.
An attorney for 33-year-old Bradley Cook says in a motion filed Tuesday that her client is being held in solitary confinement in Lafayette County. Cook is seeking a July sentencing or at least a hearing on the conditions of his detention.
Cook pleaded guilty in December to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion. He is the fourth man to plead to taking part in the torture of a young woman in a Lebanon, Mo., mobile home.
He also was accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill the lead prosecutor and the alleged victim in the case.
