Jack Buck interviews Eleanor Roosevelt during the “At Your Service” program

In Jack Buck’s early days at KMOX, station boss Robert Hyland was quick to realize Jack’s talents went beyond just being a guy who could talk about baseball.

When Hyland created the first full time talk radio format in all of broadcasting, Jack played a major role. First of all, it was his idea to call it “At Your Service” and Jack hosted the first program.

Remembering Jack Buck, I will never forget Bob Gibson”s no hitter and when Mr. Buck cryed at the end. And also the night probably in the early 70′s when Jonathan Winters came in the radio booth. II wonder if you have those 2 audio clips. I know Ron Jacober remembers both. Thank You
