ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — In efforts to curve the traffic flow and keep troublemakers out of the heart of the booming entertainment district officials will close Washington Avenue once again this weekend.
The street will be closed to through-traffic during the hours of 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. between 9th and 14th street.
Officials say they will also require identification and individuals will not be allowed in if they are not of legal drinking age.
Adding to the new restrictions tickets will be handed out to drivers with loud stereos who refuse to turn them down.
