Missouri Governor Nixon says he will sign the budget for Missouri’s public schools this weekend.
Nixon says the budget contains a record amount of basic aid for K through 12 schools.
It’s a five-million dollar increase to the state’s $3 billion school fund but is still far short of the amount called for by the state funding formula.
