It’s been a wild weekend so far at Busch Stadium between the Cardinals and Kansas City Royals.  Ron welcomed MLB.com Cardinals reporter Jenifer Langosch to break down what’s been going right and wrong the Redbirds as they look to leave St. Louis with a ‘happy flight’.

With another tight leaderboard, the 2012 U.S. Open Championship will be up for grabs on Father’s Day 2012. KMOX Golf Editor Dan Reardon checked in from San Francisco, California hours before the final round of the national championship.

The Rams concluded a solid minicamp session this past week. Now, the veterans and coaches get some time off before revving it up in about six weeks. To discuss what’s been seen on the practice field along with the franchise going to arbitration with the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission, Ron talked with Executive Vice President of Football Operations & Chief Operating Officer Kevin Demoff.

While injuries may have setback the Cardinals over the past month, GM John Mozeliak told Ron in their weekly visit that the ball club will be getting some key contributors back on the active roster after wrapping up the current home stand against the rival Kansas City Royals.

As done every year for Father’s Day on ‘America’s Sports Voice’, Ron Jacober replays the recording of Jack Buck reading A Father and His Child, a poem written by former account executive Bob Gainey. Happy Father’s Day!
