CAHOKIA, Ill. (KMOX) –  Police in Cahokia Illinois are hoping surveillance camera images can help lead them to an arrest in Wednesday’s daytime bank robbery at Scott Credit Union.

Just before 12:30 pm, a man walked into the credit union office (3413 Mississippi Ave.) and handed the teller a note announcing the robbery.

After receving a bag filled with an undetermined amount of cash the suspect left the building and was seen getting into a maroon Dodge or Plymouth van.

He’s described as 6′ tall, slender, wearing dark shorts, a black V-neck shirt, and a red baseball cap.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact Cahokia police at (618) 337-9505.
