ST. PETERS, MO (KMOX) – Saint Peters Police are hoping a very detailed description of a suspect that held up a jewelry store today leads to an arrest.
Officer Melissa Doss tells KMOX it happened just after 10-30 this morning at Smith Jewelry in the 42-hundred block of Old Highway 94.
Doss says the suspect is a white male, 40 to 50 years of age with white longer feathered hair, with a white beard or goatee. He was seen fleeing the scene in a white colored Ford Explorer with no license plates.
Doss says the suspect took several rings, mostly gold……and authorities believe he may try to sell them. Gold buyers are asked to call police immediately, if someone with large quantities of rings tries to sell them.
