COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMOX) - Two members of the 2012 Big 12 Tournament champion Missouri Tigers will get the opportunity to play in the NBA.
The Detroit Pistons selected guard Kim English in the 2nd round, Thursday night (44th overall). On his Twitter page, English said, “Blessed to be a Piston. Ready to get to work.” Mizzou head coach Frank Haith posted this on his account, “Congrats. So proud of you, Kim. You are headed to a great organization.”
Guard Marcus Denmon was picked 59th overall by the San Antonio Spurs. On his Twitter account, Denmon said, “It’s an honor.”
