ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis hospital emergency rooms are staying busy with heat-related illness cases.
The city’s department of health says thirteen people — ten males and three females — were treated on Friday.
The age of victims ranged from 23 to 103.
The St. Louis Health Department encourages residents to call the United Way at 1-800-427-4626 (or 211 from a land-line phone) for heat-related assistance.
