Saturday’s high of 105 broke another record and Sunday may do it again.
As the heat wave settles in, area hospitals are seeing about a dozen heat cases a day.
Cooling centers have opened around the area. Dialing 2-1-1 is a good way to find that list.
The first day we should see a high below one-hundred is Tuesday. That day there’s a chance for rain and a high of only 93.
Wednesday, the Fourth of July, looks rain-free but with a high over one-hundred again.
And, after that, it stays that way into next weekend.
