The St. Louis office of the FBI is thanking its counterparts in Denver, as well as the Colorado State Patrol, and the Aurora Police Department for their work in finding the kidnapped five-year-old and making an arrest.

An Associated Press report says a 25-year-old woman not related to the boy may be the person in custody.

The St. Louis office of the FBI announced Saturday that the child was found safe in Colorado.

An FBI spokeswoman says federal charges are pending against the suspect, and could be filed as early as Monday.
