ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Cardinals remind those attending Sunday afternoon’s game to dress appropriately for the record-setting hot weather and to drink plenty of water or sports drinks.
Busch Stadium first aid stations treated 100 heat-related sick cases on Friday and 65 Saturday.
Team officials say 30 to 40 percent of the cases were stadium staffers who got overheated.
The Cardinals will again offer free drinking water at stations set up throughout the stadium, and ask fans to consider using air-conditioned cooling stations, misters, and the fire department’s sprayer.
