ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -  A 56-year-old man is under arrest for opening fire on a group of juveniles setting off fireworks near his home in the Botanical Heights neighborhood.

It happened around 9:40 p.m. Thursday in the 4200 block of Blaine.

One of the boys, an 11-year-old, was rushed to the hospital after he was struck in the leg by a bullet.

He’s in stable condition.

The other boys were unhurt.

The unidentified man is being held pending charges.
