EDWARDSVILLE, IL. (KMOX) - An Edwardsville couple is charged with Endangering the Life of a Child.
Their two year old son was found on May 2nd in a small lake behind their home.
Lukas Pinski later died at a hospital.
Investigators say Emilie and Thomas Pinski knowingly left the boy unsupervised. The toddler, along with his brother, were able to climb out of a basement window at the home on Cherokee Trail in Edwardsville.
Prosecutors have also charged Shirley Pinski and Revecca Kennedy, the mothers Emilie and Thomas Pinski, with Endangering the Life of a Child. Investigators say human and animal feces, trash and broken glass were found in their home where five children lived.
