ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - There will be more major back-ups ahead for motorists heading from Illinois into Missouri over the Poplar Street Bridge.
All West bound lanes will be closed this weekend between Broadway and 21st Street beginning at 10 a.m. Friday.
MoDot says ramps from 10th and 14th will remain open.
All lanes, except the left lane, will be open by 5:30 Monday morning.
There is some good news for motorists this weekend in St. Louis County. There will be a ribbon cutting on Saturday to mark the relocation of Route 141 and the Page-Olive Connector.
The public is invited to the ribbon cutting and a 10-K run Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
Runners, walkers and cyclists will be allowed on the new roadway. Parking will be available at the Parkway Central High School complex and shuttle service will be available to the ceremony at Olive.
After Route 141 reopens Saturday, MoDot will close a section of Woods Mill Road from Parkway Central School Campus to Ladue Road. Woods Mill Road will reopen in mid-August.
