Man Charged With Robbing Salvation Army Worker

FLORISSANT, Mo. (KMOX) –  Florissant police say they’ve arrested a man who was less than charitable toward a Salvation Army worker.

24-year-old Edward J. Mitchell is accused of robbing the employee outside the Salvation Army thrift store in Florissant Tuesday. Authorities said Mitchell punched the worker before making off with $1,400 in store receipts.

He’s jailed on $35,000 bond, charged with 2nd degree robbery.
