University City to Hold Loop Trolley Meeting Tonight

ST LOUIS, MO (KMOX)--The University City City Council will hold a special meeting tonight to hear from the Loop Trolley Company on plans for the Loop Trolley.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the fifth floor chambers of University City City Hall.
Maggie Hales, Deputy Executive Director of the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council says she expects the trolley to be rumbling down the tracks by the summer of 2014.
Planners anticipate construction costs to build the system to reach $43 million.
The meeting tonight will address provide an update on the progress of the plans and entertain questions and comments from citizens and is open to the public.
