EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) - A homeless man in the Metro East is being charged with 6 residential burglaries.
James Stufflebean was arrested by the Madison County Sheriff’s office on Friday.
Chief Mike Dixon told KMOX all six burglaries had similar characteristics : same time of day, same method of entry and same things stolen.
The burglaries took place in Edwardsville, New Douglas and Alhambra.
“There is an indication Mr. Stufflebean may be using narcotics but that is not confirmed as to the reason the offenses were committed.” said Chief Dixon.
He mostly took electronics and jewelery . Dixon says he will probably face jail time if convicted.
