The Humane Society of Missouri wants residents of the apartment building to know that they can take their pets to Vandeventer and Lindell or the the Mackland Av. Headquarters and they will be taken care of.
Fire officials also fear large sections of the building may still collapse.
The Red Cross Disaster Action Team has arrived on the scene.
It’s the same apartment building where an arson fire broke out during construction in 2006.
