ST. LOUIS (KMOX)- Expect to see more #74 sweaters in the crowd at Scottrade Center this fall.

The St. Louis Blues announced Thursday night that they have avoided arbitration with fan favorite T.J. Oshie.

The veteran forward has agreed to a new five-year contract with the team. The contract is worth an average of $4.175 million per year.

Blues officials say more details will be available on Friday.

Oshie had 19 goals and 35 assists for St. Louis last season.
