Woman Calls 911, Says Boyfriend Threw Away Her Food

GLEN CARBON, Ill. (KMOX) — Another inappropriate 911 call in the Metro-East lands a Glen Carbon woman in jail.

Madison County Captain T. Mike Dixon says 51-year-old Debra Kircher decided to call local law enforcement for help after her boyfriend threw away all of her food. When deputies arrived to investigate the complain they determined it to be false.

Kircher was arrested for disorderly conduct for misusing the 911 system.

However, Dixon says during the booking process, deputies found several Alprazolam tablets in Kircher’s sock. She did not have a prescription for the drugs and now faces a possession charge and a $15-thousand dollar bond.

Alprazolam is used to treat anxiety and panic disorders.
