Chris Long Agrees To Rams Contract Extension
EARTH CITY, Mo. (KMOX) - The St. Louis Rams and defensive end Chris Long have reached an agreement on a four-year contract extention.
Post-Dispatch and KMOX Rams insider Jim Thomas confirmed the deal with team vice president Kevin Demoff.
The University of Virginia alumnus had 13 sacks last season.
Terms of the new deal have not been disclosed.
Long had one year left on his previous contract, so that means he’ll be a Ram for the next five seasons.
Long is the son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Howie Long.
